His genuine affection for people, a deep love for God’s Word, and a passion for the Glory of God characterize his ministry. He earned his bachelors degree in Rhetoric and Communications from Kent State University and a Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Kevin has previously served as a Young life volunteer, pastoral intern in Northwest Ohio, and associate pastor in Chicago and Michigan. In addition to his role at Brookside, he is the lead church planting coach for the Great Lakes Disctrict of the EFCA: coaching individual church planters, leading a monthly cohort of church planters, and teaching at national events on church planting. He and his wife, Dulcie, have four sons (Colin, Micah, Caleb, and Jacob) and reside in Bowling Green.

Care Pastor: George Loper

Pastor George was the first staff member, other than Pastor Kevin, hired by Brookside.  His desire to see everyone connect to community and be active in a LIFE Group make him a tremendous asset to Brookside's staff team. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married since 1975 and have two adult children. Lisa and George enjoy the fullness of life, expressing their gifts through hospitality, parties, travel and reaching out to those in need of Christ’s love. They also love to spoil their grandchildren any chance they get!

Church Administrator: Sara Martin

Sara came to study education at BGSU in 2000 and hasn't been able to shake BG since. She married her husband, Ben, in 2005 and together they have two children, Asher and Amelia. Sara has been beyond blessed to serve Brookside part-time as administrator when she decided to leave her teaching career upon the birth of their son in 2009. She has a passion for people, cooking, health and nutrition, mothering/parenting, homemaking, crafting, frugal living and discovering God in the midst of it all.
